An abandoned car is being removed from the Mubarak Al-Kabeer area.

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 9: In a recent series of field trips conducted by the Public Cleanliness and Road Works Department of the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate Municipality branch, significant actions were taken to address issues related to abandoned vehicles, boats, and commercial containers. The department's efforts resulted in the removal of nine abandoned cars and boats, while 29 stickers were affixed to identify abandoned items, including cars, boats, groceries, and commercial containers, for subsequent removal after the specified grace period. Additionally, the department replaced five old containers with new ones during the past week.

Fahd Al-Quraifa, the Director of the Public Cleanliness and Road Works Department in the governorate's municipality branch, highlighted the primary objective of these intensive field tours: to monitor violations and implement all necessary legal measures against offenders. Al-Quraifa emphasized that his supervisory team is dedicated to enhancing cleanliness levels in the areas under its jurisdiction. The team is focused on eliminating elements that compromise the aesthetic appeal of the surroundings and obstruct roads in various areas. The department conducts regular field tours as part of its commitment to preserving the cultural landscape of the governorate.
