87 Abandoned Vehicles Cleared in Hawally as Kuwait Municipality Intensifies Campaigns

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 31: Kuwait Municipality announced that field teams from the Public Hygiene and Road Occupancy Departments have intensified inspection campaigns across all governorates to enforce cleanliness regulations and remove violations affecting public spaces.

In Hawally Governorate, municipal teams conducted extensive field tours in residential areas to improve cleanliness, remove road obstructions, and prevent waste dumping outside designated containers.

Authorities confirmed the removal of 87 abandoned and scrap vehicles, along with illegal boats, and issued 123 warnings related to abandoned vehicles. The municipality said such campaigns will continue as part of efforts to enhance public hygiene and maintain the overall appearance of residential areas.
