836 new COVID infections; 5 deaths

KUWAIT CITY, July 25: Kuwait’s Health Ministry confirmed that 836 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the past 24-hours, while deaths settled at five people, noting that four of them were unvaccinated, accumulating the death toll of up to 2,284 people on record. The Ministry’s Spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad conveyed this during his statement earlier while also pointing out the recovery rate has augmented to 95.79 percent including the 1,112 on Sunday. He also revealed the circumstances of hospitalized patients, which are receiving necessary treatment up to 14,325, who tested positive are stagnantly under care with 1,097 hospitalized and 310 are in ICUs. Out of all the COVID-19 tests done (3,326,357 in total) 6.99 percent only tested positive, he added. As for the regional testing, in Al-Ahmadi the turnout is 32-percent, Hawali with 29-percent, 15-percent in Al-Farwaniya, 14-percent in Al-Jahra, and in the capital set at 10-percent.
