TEHRAN, (AP) Mar 27: Attacks on Iran have damaged around 82,000 civilian buildings, including hospitals, residential units, and homes, affecting approximately 180,000 people, across 20 of the country’s 32 provinces, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) said on Friday.

Separately, Norwegian Refugee Council Secretary-General Jan Egeland said aid workers in Iran have reported widespread destruction of homes, hospitals, and schools, adding that nearly every neighborhood in Tehran has been impacted. He warned that civilians are bearing the “highest price” of the conflict and urged an immediate end to the war, cautioning that continued fighting could trigger a far wider humanitarian crisis and force millions to flee across borders, placing severe pressure on an already strained region.
