8 killed, one injured in fire at textile factory in China

GUANGZHOU, Sept 21 (Xinhua) — At least eight people were killed and one injured after a fire broke out at a textile factory in Foshan city in south China's Guangdong Province, local authorities said Monday.

The fire started at around 3 p.m. on Sunday. The injured person has been taken to the hospital for treatment.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
