According to the municipality, a total of 780 abandoned vehicles will be offered for sale through a sealed-envelope auction. The vehicles are categorized across three blocks at the impound yard: 270 in Block 1, 260 in Block 2, and 250 in Block 3.

The municipality said interested bidders can obtain the auction terms and conditions booklet from its main office, specifically at the Financial Affairs Department. Prospective buyers are also allowed to inspect the vehicles at the Mina Abdullah scrap yard during official working hours, with inspections running through the same deadline.

Bids will be accepted only on the day of the auction, scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, 2026, between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM at the Financial Affairs Department building, second floor. Officials stressed that no submissions will be accepted after the deadline.

The opening of envelopes and the auction process will begin immediately after 12:00 PM on the same day at the designated venue.

The municipality encouraged interested parties to review all conditions carefully and participate within the specified timeframe.
