KUWAIT CITY, Oct 9: The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFN), in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and the relevant fisheries authorities, destroyed 773 kilograms of spoiled fish during a joint inspection campaign in the Al-Fahaheel area.

The campaign targeted fish, vegetable and meat markets to strengthen market oversight and ensure food safety. Inspectors also issued four violation reports for non-compliance with public hygiene rules and requirements.

The authority said inspection campaigns would continue in cooperation with the relevant government agencies, with necessary legal action taken against violators to protect public health and consumer safety.
