KUWAIT CITY, Nov 30: Pursuant to Law No. 61/2015 on the regulation and installation of security cameras and monitoring devices, First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef issued Ministerial Decree No. 2319/2025 amending Ministerial Decree No. 3811/2016 on the inspection of establishments and discovery of violations. The decree, which took effect Monday, designates 76 officials from the Human Resources and Information Technology departments who are authorised to uncover violations stipulated in Law No. 61/2015 concerning the regulation and installation of security cameras and monitoring devices. These officials are authorised, in the course of their duties, to inspect establishments, seize materials related to violations, prepare the necessary reports, and refer them to the competent authority.
