74 Facilities Hit With Warnings, Closures in Shuwaikh Inspection Campaign

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 7: The General Fire Force, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Commerce and the Public Authority for the Environment, conducted an inspection campaign Monday evening in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area of Capital Governorate to identify buildings and facilities violating fire safety and prevention requirements.

The campaign resulted in the administrative closure of several facilities and the issuance of notices and warnings to 74 establishments for failing to meet the requirements of the General Fire Force, as well as regulations enforced by the participating government agencies. The campaign forms part of ongoing efforts by the authorities to ensure compliance with safety standards, protect lives and property, and take action against facilities operating in violation of the law.
