74 Expats Arrested for Violating Residency and Labor Law in Fahaheel

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 17: Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Department of Criminal Investigation and the Residence Affairs Investigation Department, in cooperation with the Public Authority for Manpower, conducted an inspection campaign in Fahaheel, covering the industrial area and commercial markets.

The campaign was part of ongoing efforts to apprehend individuals violating residency and labor laws, as well as wanted persons. A total of 74 violators and wanted individuals were apprehended during the operation.

Arrests

36 violators under Article 18.
30 violators under Article 20.
6 absconding cases under Article 20, with outstanding arrest warrants.
1 violator under Article 14.
1 violator under Article 22.

Authorities said the necessary legal and administrative procedures were taken against all those apprehended, with cases being prepared for referral to the competent authorities.
