KUWAIT CITY, Nov 09: Kuwait Ministry of Health reported 5 deaths and 735 cases due to COVID-19. The death toll climbed up to 816 and the infected cases to 132,478, health ministry data showed.
According to ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, the number of people hospitalized with the virus stands at 8,348; 120 of whom in intensive care units.
Al-Sanad added that 5,659 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hrs, with a total of 971,489 so far.
Meanwhile, some 738 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours to raise the total to 123,314, the ministry said.
