728 recover from coronavirus; 532 new infections

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 14: Kuwait Ministry of Health reported 532 new COVID-19 infections, taking the total to 113,269, while the death toll surged to 676 after confirming new 4 fatalities during the last 24 hours.

The number of people hospitalized with the virus stands at 7,357; 139 of whom are in intensive care units, said the ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, adding that 4,177 swab tests were conducted in the past day out of a total of 800,937 so far.

728 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours to raise the total to 105,236, the ministry had earlier said.
