KUWAIT CITY, Sept 24: The Criminal Court has sentenced two Gulf nationals to seven years in prison with hard labor in a case involving the forgery of Kuwaiti nationality documents.

The court, presided over by Counselor Al-Duwaihi Al-Duwaihi and comprising Judges Hamad Al-Hajri and Faisal Al-Khudair, also ordered the defendants to pay fines and return KD 309,000 obtained in connection with the case.

The court further ordered the dismissal of the second defendant from his government job and directed that both defendants be deported from Kuwait after serving their sentences.

The case concerns the alleged forgery and fraudulent acquisition of Kuwaiti nationality, with the court issuing the verdict after considering the evidence presented before it.
