7 Violations Flagged as Kuwait Municipality Inspects Construction Sites in Farwaniya

KUWAIT CITY, May 5: Kuwait Municipality has issued seven safety warnings following inspection campaigns targeting construction and renovation sites in the Farwaniya Governorate, as part of ongoing efforts to enforce safety regulations and curb violations. The Kuwait Municipality said its supervisory teams from the Safety Department conducted field tours covering 13 sites, monitoring compliance with approved safety standards and identifying breaches.

According to the municipality’s Public Relations Department, the inspections are part of wider campaigns carried out across all six governorates to ensure construction activities adhere to safety requirements and to protect public property. Officials confirmed that necessary legal measures will be taken against violators, stressing that field teams are intensifying monitoring efforts to detect non-compliance and enforce regulations.

The municipality reiterated that these campaigns aim to enhance safety standards at worksites and ensure strict adherence to laws, with continued inspections planned to maintain oversight and accountability in the sector.
