7 More Lose Kuwaiti Citizenship — Here Are the Details

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 30: Kuwait has issued a decision concerning the loss of Kuwaiti citizenship of seven individuals, following approval by the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Citizenship Verification.

The decision, issued by the Council of Ministers under Decision No. (87/2016) of 2026, was published in the Kuwait Alyoum Official Gazette on Sunday, August 30.

According to the decision, the following seven individuals are:

  • Laila Bader Abdul Mohsen Ahmed Al-Duwaisan
  • Nasser Bader Abdul Mohsen Ahmed Al-Duwaisan
  • Fahad Bader Abdul Mohsen Ahmed Al-Duwaisan
  • Shlash Hazza Shlash
  • Maryam Shlash Hazza Shlash
  • Amal Shlash Hazza Shlash
  • Yusra Shlash Hazza Shlash

The decision was issued pursuant to Article 11 of Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 concerning the Kuwaiti Citizenship Law and its amendments, following approval by the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Citizenship Verification.

All relevant government authorities have been instructed to implement the decision within their respective jurisdictions. The decision took effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

The decision was issued on August 20, 2026, by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Citizenship Verification, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah.
