KUWAIT CITY, Mar 14: Speaking during a media briefing, ministry spokesperson Colonel Saud Al-Atwan said the incident occurred amid ongoing tensions linked to Iranian aggression against Kuwait. Over the past 24 hours, the Kuwaiti Armed Forces detected seven hostile drones, three of which were destroyed, while two crashed outside the threat zone and posed no danger.
Three members of the armed forces sustained minor injuries in the incident and received medical treatment, with their condition reported as stable.
Al-Atwan added that a task force from the Kuwait National Guard successfully destroyed two additional hostile drones after detecting them within its operational area, highlighting close coordination between military units.
