66 stores shut for violating precautionary measures

KUWAIT, June 14: Kuwait Municipality stated that it closed 66 stores in the Capital Governorate during the month of May for violating the precautionary measures to avoid the spread of the new Corona virus (Covid-19).
   The municipality said in a press statement today, Sunday, that its supervisory teams issued 132 various violations, and issued a number of warnings, ranging from shops, cafes, salons, restaurants, groceries and central markets, as it revealed 1146 stores.

These inspections are part of the efforts to confront the virus based on the decisions of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Health within the precautionary and preventive measures taken by the municipality to avoid the spread of the disease.

The municipality carried out its inspections which resulted in issuing 88 violations and closed down 35 orders in violation of the municipal regulations and cabinet decisions. (KUNA)
