KUWAIT CITY, Aug 17: The General Fire Department, in coordination with the Ministry of Commerce, the Public Authority for Industry, and Kuwait Municipality, launched an inspection campaign on Sunday evening in Shuwaikh Industrial Area 2.
The operation focused on identifying facilities and establishments that violated safety and fire prevention regulations. As a result, authorities ordered the administrative closure of 63 industrial outlets and shops. In addition, 92 notices were issued to other establishments for failing to comply with the fire department’s safety requirements.
