Dust accompanied by rain, cold weather

KUWAIT CITY: Acting Director of the Meteorological Department Sami Al-Othman said the country will experience light southwesterly winds accompanied by low but dense weather in the upper atmosphere beginning Monday morning.

He told KUNA the weather phenomenon will lead to active moderate southwesterly winds at speed ranging from 20 to 50km/h accompanied by dust and light to moderate cloud, accompanied by rain or thunderstorm on some areas.

He the expected maximum temperature will fall between 22 to 24d degree Celsius and the weather will be relatively cold at night with moderate southeasterly winds blowing at a range between 20-38 km/h, with the minimum temperature between 11-13 degree Celsius, and moderate sea waves of 3 to 5 feet.
