600 doctors geared up for overseas Kuwaitis

KUWAIT, April 16 : Some 600 doctors of various specializations have been intensively trained to conduct coronavirus swab tests for Kuwaiti citizens who are expected to return home soon, said a health official Thursday.

The Health Ministry’s Public Health Department has organized intensive workshops and specialized lectures for medical teams who are to deploy at Kuwait International Airport to examine returning citizens as part of evacuations flights starting as of April 19, the department’s head Fahad Al-Qamlas told KUNA.

He reassured that the trained medical teams are now well-trained to deal with the emergency matter in a professional mode.
More than 35,000 overseas Kuwaiti citizens are willing to return home following the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) in almost all world countries.(KUNA) —
