KUWAIT CITY, July 11: Today, the General Fire Force took decisive action by administratively closing 60 shops and facilities across various governorates. This move comes after repeated warnings were issued to these establishments for failing to obtain fire licenses and not meeting essential safety and fire prevention standards.
According to officials, the closures were necessary due to the businesses' persistent non-compliance with safety regulations despite prior notifications to rectify the violations. The establishments were found to be operating without the required fire licenses, posing significant risks to public safety.
