KUWAIT CITY, June 18: In a groundbreaking verdict, the Court of Appeal, led by Chancellor Hassan Al-Shammari, has handed down a historic ruling, sentencing six expatriates to four years of imprisonment with labor and fines. The individuals were found guilty of obtaining driving licenses through corrupt means by offering monetary bribes. Upon completion of their sentences, they will be deported from the country as part of the court’s decision.
