Manama, Mar. 14: Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior (Bahrain) announced that the Anti-Cybercrime Directorate at the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption, Economic and Electronic Security has arrested six individuals for posting videos on social media that expressed sympathy with Iranian aggression, glorified hostile acts, spread false news, and incited attacks on sites in the Kingdom.
The ministry said the videos could mislead public opinion, spread fear among citizens and residents, and threaten security and public order. Legal procedures have been initiated, and the arrested individuals have been referred to the Public Prosecution (Bahrain).
Authorities urged the public to rely on official sources and avoid sharing unverified videos or news to prevent legal consequences and help maintain national security.
