5th Suicide within 72 hrs – Indian maid commits suicide in Salwa

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 3: Suicide cases are on the rise in Kuwait among expat community, there has been 5 cases within 72 hours!
After two Nepalese and three Indians committed suicide within two days, 5th case was registered of an Indian woman after she ended her life in the Salwa area by using a bed-sheet in the home of her sponsor.

According to the security source, the Ministry of the Interior’s operations received a death report in the Salwa area, and immediately the security patrols and ambulances went to the location and found that a housemaid committed suicide.

The source added that the Indian sponsor stated that she was not suffering from anything and was not lacking anything, and that it was likely that she received news from her country that prompted her to commit suicide, the body was removed and referred to the forensic department and investigation is being opened into the incident.
