KUWAIT, May 17: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and Industry said that its teams monitored 59 cooperative societies, Supermarkets, commercial stores and pharmacy stores during their inspection tours, and monitored 50 branches of food catering to ensure the smooth flow of sales and delivery of foodstuffs to their beneficiaries, determine their commitment and maintain Product price stability.

The MOCI said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today, Sunday, that its teams are continuing their inspection rounds in light of the decisions in place regarding the procedures concerned to face the repercussions of the spread of the emerging corona virus (COFED-19).

Emergency center had received 193 complaints via the hotline (135), stressing the need to adhere to the law because of the exceptional circumstance that the country is going through, noting that it and its inspection teams will be on the lookout for all those who ask themselves to take advantage of the current circumstance (KUNA)
