KUWAIT CITY, Feb 11: The statistics issued by the Implementation Department at the Ministry of Justice for the year 2022 revealed that 5,495 travel bans were issued by the Family Court against citizens and residents, reports Al-Qabas daily. Legal sources told the daily the first half of last year witnessed the issuance of 2,740 travel ban measures, compared to 2,755 measures in the second half.
The sources pointed out that most of the issues on which the travel ban was placed are custody and other family issues and disputes.
