514 new coronavirus infections in Kuwait

KUWAIT, Aug 9: The Ministry of Health announced 514 new infections of the coronavirus (COVID-19), raising the total to 71,713 in past 24 hrs. Deaths reached 478 with the addition of 4 fatalities.

Al-Sanad explained that from 514 cases of infection 359 cases were of Kuwaiti citizens, and 155 cases of non-Kuwaitis.

Infections as per health regions, with 122 cases in ahra Health District, 118 cases in Ahmadi Health District, 111 cases in Farwaniya Health District, , 83 cases in Hawalli Health District, and 80 cases in the Capital Health District.
