KUWAIT, May 3: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced today, Sunday, closed 5 commercial stores that violated health precautions in order to contain spread from corona virus.


MOCI said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that its inspection teams monitored 181 cooperative societies, a superarket, commercial stores and vegetable stands to determine the extent of their commitment and maintain the stability of product prices.


The inspection teams monitored 50 catering branches to ensure the smooth flow of sales and delivery of foodstuffs to their beneficiaries.
Emergency center received six complaints through the control centers, while the ration cards were renewed and issued for 87 transactions.
