Work mixture of imaginations with innovation

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 29: Five Kuwaiti female artists gathered 27 of their portraits under a single roof inside “The Hub Gallery” summarizing various schools of arts, which each of the artists interpreted in their perceptions through painting, reports Al-Rai daily.

Al-Rai visited the artistic exhibition during the inaugural event and the efforts made by the five Kuwaiti artists – Nancy Abdul-Ghafour, Dalal Al-Obaidi, Dr Fatmah Al-Thubairi, Lami Al-Ajmi and Maisam Qasim – were documented with different lines, circles and colors. The works were mixture of imaginations with innovations created from fingertips and feathers.

Artist Nancy expressed joy that the exhibition was a reality and she participated as a first timer. She displayed 13 of her works at the exhibition, saying they represented Egyptian folklore reflecting warmth and beauty with exclusive colors and romantic features.
