KUWAIT CITY, Nov 8: Acting Marketing Director at the Touristic Enterprises Company (TEC) Abdullah Khaled Al-Rifai said the opening of the fourth Winter Wonderland is a valuable addition to the tourism and entertainment sector in the country. Al-Rifai announced that the facility features numerous additions and surprises for visitors, indicating he expects it to attract more than 800,000 visitors this season. He expressed his happiness over the opening of the fourth season of Winter Wonderland, located on the Arabian Gulf, spanning 129,000 square meters. He said the facility includes 70 rides for both children and adults, in addition to five new rides.

Regarding the new attractions, he disclosed that the most prominent new ride is the ‘Hollenblitz’, considered the world’s largest indoor roller coaster, ‘Round the World’, the tallest ride in Kuwait at 60 meters, ‘Slingshot’, ‘Flya’ and ‘Word Boost’, in addition to a concert theater. On ticket prices, he said the price has been reduced to KD2 and tickets can be purchased through the TEC app, indicating the Winter Wonderland season runs from Nov 6, 2025 until the end of April 2026.

He also announced the opening of the ‘Key Land’ and ‘June’ projects on Nov 16. He emphasized that the ‘Visit Kuwait’ app, in cooperation with the Ministry of Information, is a major supporter of tourism projects in Kuwait, as it aims to attract visitors from outside Kuwait. He said the public sector and government agencies are working hard to realize Kuwait Vision 2035, explaining that the opening of such projects with the cooperation and participation of the private sector will boost the Kuwaiti economy and enhance its position on the tourism map once again. He added that TEC granted numerous investment opportunities to the private sector and young entrepreneurs during the fourth season of Winter Wonderland, indicating there are 40 investment opportunities like restaurants, cafés and retail outlets, as well as 266 job opportunities for Kuwaiti youths through the LOYAC Association. He stressed that this highlights the role of TEC in employment, social responsibility and experience development
