47 Expats Held in Kuwait Inspection Campaign in Kabd

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 15: The Public Authority of Manpower carried out a field inspection campaign in Kabd targeting undocumented workers, in coordination with the Public Security Sector of the Ministry of Interior, resulting in the apprehension of 47 workers for violating labor regulations.

Authorities said 25 violations were recorded under Article 18 and 22 under Article 20, with all offenders referred to the relevant authorities for legal action.

The campaign is part of ongoing nationwide efforts to regulate the labor market and curb illegal employment, carried out in cooperation with various government bodies. Officials urged employers and workers to comply with labor laws to avoid penalties, reaffirming their commitment to enforcement while safeguarding the rights of all parties.
