47 arrested in Khaitan security campaign

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 22: Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior arrested 47 people during a large-scale security campaign in Khaitan targeting residency violators, absconders and other wanted individuals. The operation, carried out by the Farwaniya Security Directorate, began late Tuesday evening and continued into the early hours of Wednesday. The ministry said security campaigns will continue across various areas to apprehend violators and wanted persons, enforce the law and strengthen security and stability.
