Kuwait Municipality removes unlawful spring camps and mobile stores.

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 2: The Kuwait Municipality conducted extensive monitoring operations on spring camps across Jahra and Al-Ahmadi governorates during the New Year's holiday. As a result, 46 non-compliant camps were dismantled, along with the removal of 140 others and 20 mobile grocery stores. These structures were relocated to the municipality's designated areas in Na’ayem and Mina Abdullah. Additionally, 70 street vendor violation reports were issued, leading to the referral of offenders to relevant authorities for further legal actions.

The Kuwait Municipality emphasized the importance of spring camp license holders adhering strictly to the municipality's regulations, laws, and conditions. They specifically urged license holders to refrain from organizing celebrations during official mourning periods. The municipality warned that licenses should be promptly revoked if any violations are identified.

Highlighting the commitment to enforce compliance, the municipality assured that inspection teams would not hesitate to dismantle camps that fail to meet the stipulated terms and conditions. The public was urged to respect and adhere to the established controls and conditions when setting up spring camps.
