KUWAIT CITY, April 29: Observer at the Department of Hajj and Umrah Affairs in the Ministry of Endowment Abdullah Al-Baijan revealed that the number of Kuwaiti pilgrims since the start of Umrah season 1444 AH has reached 44,613 pilgrims so far while the number of land trips has reached 985, reports Al-Jarida daily. In a press statement, Al-Baijan affirmed that the department is always keen on overcoming obstacles that pilgrims might face during Umrah. He said the total number of pilgrims during Ramadan reached 15,553 while the number of land trips totaled 340.
