442 await kidney transplant – 2170 patients undergoing dialysis in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, March 16: Head of Kuwait Nephrology Association and Head of Kidney Transplant in Hamed Al-Essa Center Dr Turki Al-Otaibi affirmed that there are nearly 442 patients waiting for their kidney transplant operations, reports Al-Anba daily.
He revealed that there are 2,170 patients undergoing dialysis in Kuwait, in comparison to roughly 2.5 million dialysis patients worldwide as per international statistics.
