‘42,529 expatriates over past two and half years, almost KD 2 million spent’

KUWAIT CITY, April 16: In his response to the queries of MP Abdullah Al-Mudaf; Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah confirmed the deportation of 42,529 expatriates over the past two and half years. He disclosed that the State spent almost KD2 million for the plane tickets of these expatriates.

On the other hand, MP Mubarak Al- Hajraf submitted a proposal to refund the KD3,000 paid by the beneficiaries of Al-Mutla’a housing project due to the hard texture of the land which cannot be drilled. He also suggested reducing the installment for a housing loan from 10 percent to five percent of the salary. By Saeed Mahmoud Saleh Arab Times Staff and Agencies
