41 deaths and 2795 infections in Saudi Arabia; Qatar reports 2 new deaths and 225 new cases

RIYADH, April 7 (KUNA) — Saudi Arabia Tuesday said 41 people have died as a result of coronavirus while number of infections rose to 2,795.
Ministry of health spokesman Dr. Mohammad Al-Abdulaali told a daily press briefing three persons passed away of the virus since yesterday to raise total fatalities to 41.
He added 43 people tested positive for the virus to make new tally at 2,795.
Al-Abdulaali said 64 people have recovered from the virus to reach a total of 615.
Qatar
Qatar confirmed two more deaths due to the coronavirus on Tuesday, bringing the total deaths in the country to six, according to the country’s Ministry of Public Health.
Health ministry officials also said that it detected 225 new cases of the coronavirus, raising the total to 2057 cases as of Tusday
Oman
Oman declared on Tuesday recording 40 new coronavirus cases bringing total number of persons contaminated with the virus to 371.
Official Oman News Agency (OMNA) quoted a statement issued by the Ministry of Health as saying that 67 patients out of the 371 cases recovered but two of them died.
Bahrain
Bahrain’s Ministry of Health said Tuesday 55 people tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The ministry, in a statement on its Twitter account, said the new cases were isolated and began treatment.
It added current coronavirus cases were 349, of them four in the intensive care unit.
