400 to 600 passengers arrive daily through Kuwait International Airport

KUWAIT CITY, March 9: The National Health Centers took charge over their duties at  Kuwait International Airport on Sunday to conduct PCR test for coronavirus for those coming to the country under the supervision and follow up by the Ministry of Health.

The National Aviation Services (NAS) is responsible for inspecting the airport building T1 and has contracted with 3 private centers, while Kuwait Airways has contracted 1 examination center to carry out checks on arrival in T4 terminal.

The number of departures currently are between 2,000 to 3,000 per day. The number of arrivals are very small ranging from 400 to 600 passengers per day mainly Kuwaiti citizens and domestic workers (Maids, Drivers), reports Al Anba. One of the citizens commented that there were no problems in the mechanism of quarantine in hotels and the examination process for all arrivals to the country was smoothly carried out, the second examination will be done after 7 days after their arrival date.
