KUWAIT CITY, Apr 2: The Kuwait Municipality stated that it carried out inspection tours across the Capital Governorate, resulting in 40 violations issued following checks on 95 shops.
According to the Public Relations Department, the inspections were conducted to ensure compliance with municipal regulations and licensing conditions. Officials said the violations included failure to maintain the price display and operating businesses with expired licenses.
Faisal Al-Otaibi, Acting Director of the Audit and Follow-up Department in the Capital Governorate, said field inspection teams will continue their regular monitoring tours to enforce regulations and ensure adherence to municipal laws.
He warned shop owners to comply with rules and licensing requirements to avoid penalties, stressing that enforcement efforts will continue across the governorate.
