40 tents uprooted,195 warnings issued

KUWAIT CITY, March 20: Kuwait Municipality’s supervisory teams, operating under the public hygiene departments in Jahra and Al-Ahmadi governorates, have initiated the removal of spring camps that exceed the official camping period, which concluded last Friday, report Al-Rai daily. During Sunday and Monday, these municipal teams issued 195 warnings and dismantled 40 camps across both the northern and southern regions of the country.

The Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality commended the cooperation of licensed camp owners who voluntarily dismantled their camps after the official camping period ended. They emphasized that municipal teams will continue monitoring all camp sites to ensure compliance with the camping season regulations. Necessary measures will be taken to enforce Kuwait Municipality’s decisions and regulations.
