KUWAIT CITY, Apr 14: The Ministry of Interior stated that 40 people were refereed to the competent court for violating the partial ban that began implementation on March 22, and some were released with financial guarantees of up to 1,000 dinars until the cases are decided.
The ministry said in a press statement to the General Administration of Relations and Security Media today that the General Department of Investigations has launched an investigation into cases of violators that broke partial curfew law, which was placed to limit the spread of the Corona virus and they have been referred to the security authorities.
Sources stated that among the recorded cases are of people who held gatherings and celebrations of marriage, calling on all to abide by the laws issued in these exceptional circumstances as the security establishment will not tolerate the implementation of the provisions of the ban law in a way that aims to achieve the public interest of the country.
