4 US soldiers, Sri Lankan hurt in 2-vehicle collision

KUWAIT CITY, March 6: Four American soldiers and a Sri Lankan were injured following a collision Tuesday morning between a US military vehicle and a truck near Khubari Al-Awazem, reports Al-Anba daily. A security source said the Americans were seriously injured and one of them is believed to be in critical condition.

They have been moved to the US base outside the country, while the Sri Lankan was taken to the Jahra Hospital. After the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry received a report, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the spot immediately. At the scene of the accident there remained the mangled vehicles as a result of the violent accident
