KUWAIT CITY, Jul 23: Kuwait International Men's first Boxing Championship, on its third day, witnessed strong competitions between participants in different categories.

In the 51-kilogram weight category, Kuwaiti Mansour Mubarak defeated his Bahrain's Fadel Abbas, Iranian Mustafa Riqi defeated Bulgarian Sabri, and Iraq's Muntazer Ali defeated Saudi Arabia's Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi, also Uzbek's Abdul Majeed Manobov defeated Yemen's Suhail Al-Qarnas.

In the 63-kilogram weight category, Thailand's Badeng Khonatib defeated Yemen's Kamel Hassan, while the Uzbek's Lazizbek Fatiyov defeated the Qatar's Abdul Hadi Al-Marri, the Iraqi Yahya Sami defeated Saudi Samir Hamidi and Iranian Bajfraji defeated the Yemeni Moaz Al-Khamiri.

In the 80-kilogram weight category, Uzbekistans Dilchodbek Rosmetov defeated Kuwait's Talal Al-Mutawa, while Iran's Syed Mousavi defeated China's Rehimandu Halimulati, Kazakhstan's Erkin Adelbek defeated his Thailands counterpart Bororn Kadamdwan, and Iran's Syed Hossein beat his Bulgarian counterpart William Rosinov.
