KUWAIT CITY, Jun 2: The Kuwait Municipality has announced that its field teams are continuing to intensify inspection campaigns across various governorates to monitor violations and ensure compliance with municipal regulations.
According to the department, the ongoing field tours aim to strengthen oversight, detect violations, and take legal measures against offenders to enhance public cleanliness standards and ensure proper use of public spaces. Officials noted that special attention is being given to improving hygiene levels in residential and commercial areas, as well as removing visual distortions and obstructions caused by improper road occupation.
In Hawalli Governorate, the municipality stated that intensified inspection drives have been launched to identify violators and enforce regulations more strictly. The department emphasized that these efforts are part of a broader strategy to maintain cleanliness and regulate public space usage across the governorate.
As part of the latest campaign, field teams issued 35 violations related to cleanliness and public property encroachment, removed 33 abandoned and illegally dumped scrap vehicles, and placed 156 warning and alert stickers on non-compliant properties and vehicles.
The municipality reaffirmed its commitment to continuing inspection tours and enforcing regulations to maintain urban cleanliness, preserve public aesthetics, and ensure compliance with municipal laws across Kuwait.
