KUWAIT CITY, Nov 17: The Kuwait Municipality’s supervisory teams have removed 33 illegally established camps after finding them set up in areas not designated for camping. Authorities also issued 60 warnings for violations and impounded 22 mobile food trucks operating without proper authorization.
Municipal teams from the Public Hygiene Departments in Al-Jahra Governorate carried out the removal operations in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, the Environment Public Authority, and the General Fire Department. The camps were dismantled due to non-compliance with official camping locations and the absence of valid permits.
The Public Relations Department stated that municipal teams will continue monitoring all camping sites across the country to ensure they remain free of illegal camps and to enforce all relevant rules and regulations.
