KUWAIT CITY, May 2: The Ministry of Interior stated that 33 prison inmates were infected with coronavirus. One of them has been shifted to Farwaniya hospital. Preventive measures of isolation have been taken with remaining infected inmates as per health measures. The condition is stable and there is no cause of concern.
Medical checks and swabs of prison inmates are being done with cooperation of the health ministry. The Ministry of Interior is committed to safeguarding health and works continuously to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
