KUWAIT CITY, Mar 1: The Kuwait Ministry of Health reported that 32 injury cases, all involving foreign nationals, were received at the emergency department of Al-Adan Hospital. Medical teams provided immediate care with the highest levels of readiness and preparedness.

Of the injured, 15 patients were transferred to Jaber Hospital for specialized treatment, while the remaining cases continue to be monitored at Al-Adan Hospital. Five patients underwent urgent surgeries at Al-Adan, and one death was reported, with condolences extended to the family.

Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, the ministry’s official spokesperson, said injuries ranged from chest, head, and abdominal trauma to fractures and multiple body injuries. He confirmed that all patients are receiving careful medical attention and continuous monitoring following approved treatment protocols.

In addition, the ministry treated 12 infection cases on Saturday across its hospitals — nine at Al-Farwaniyah, two at Al-Jahra, and one at Mubarak Hospital — all receiving comprehensive care and follow-up.

The Ministry of Health emphasized the continued readiness of emergency and intensive care units, highlighting ongoing coordination between health sectors to ensure rapid response and high-quality care amid ongoing developments.
