KUWAIT CITY, June 10: Director of the Central Department for Primary Health Care in the Ministry of Health Dr. Dina Al- Dhabeib says the working hours in the 30 vaccination centers in various parts of the country will be from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm, reports Al-Qabas daily. In a press statement, she explained that the ministry has prepared lists and tables with the names of the health, nursing and administrative employees in preparation for the implementation of a campaign to vaccinate 200,000 people with the second dose of the Oxford vaccine.
The health centers have a specific absorptive capacity in terms of space, parking for vehicles, restrooms and chairs. She stressed the need to adhere to the dates granted to citizens and residents to receive the dose and the location specified in the text message in order to ensure smooth and orderly workfl ow and the absence of any congestion both inside and outside the centers. Dr. Al-Dhabeib stated that the ministry is working on accelerating the pace of vaccinations for people who received the first dose of the Oxford vaccine a few months ago, with the aim of completing the the second dose campaign within ten days or less, adding that each health center has the capability to vaccinate 500 to 600 people per day.
