30 Residence violators arrested in Jleeb Al Shuyokh

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 3: A campaign was carried out against residence law violators in Farwaniya governorate specifically in Jleeb Al Shuyoukh area by the Public Authority of Manpower and the Ministry of Interior personnel’s. Restaurants, factories and makeshift markets were targeted.

Thirty workers and an one unlicensed carpentry workshop were referred to the competent authority, reports Al Anba. 12 Domestic workers (Article 20) and 18 Private sector workers (Article 18) were arrested, including 10 workers who were absconding from their sponsors. 6 Workers were arrested in a restaurant.
