30 illegal random stalls dismantled in Fahaheel

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 8: The Public Relations Department at Kuwait Municipality confirmed that field teams from the Public Sanitation and Road Works Departments continue to intensify their inspection tours to uncover and remove violations of cleaning and road work regulations in the governorates, reports Al-Anba daily. This campaign also aims to strengthen the oversight role of regulatory bodies and ensure the effective enforcement of municipal laws. Deputy Director General for Hawally and Ahmadi Governorates Sector Eng. Ahmad Al-Hazim explained that the purpose of intensifying field tours is to identify violators and take appropriate legal measures against them. He said his inspection team is committed to enhancing the overall level of cleanliness in the areas under its jurisdiction and to removing anything that affects the aesthetic appearance or obstructs roads.

Campaign
Al-Hazim then revealed that the Public Sanitation and Road Works Department in Ahmadi Governorate recently carried out an extensive campaign, which resulted in the issuance of four violation citations to street vendors, the removal of 13 abandoned vehicles, addressing violations by mobile food trucks, issuing 37 warning stickers, and dismantling 30 illegal random stalls in Fahaheel and Mahboula.

Meanwhile, the Public Hygiene and Road Occupancy Department of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Municipality conducted a comprehensive inspection tour of residential areas to enhance cleanliness and prevent littering outside designated containers, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The inspection tour resulted in the lifting of 35 abandoned vehicles, scrap metal, boats, commercial containers, and unlicensed motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles.

A total of 34 violations related to public hygiene and road occupancy were recorded, and 31 removal notices were issued for abandoned vehicles and unlicensed commercial containers. In addition, 40 damaged garbage containers were replaced, and 75 new containers were installed. In a press statement, the Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality announced that field teams from the Public Hygiene and Road Occupancy Departments have been carrying out inspection tours in all governorates to monitor and remove violations of hygiene and road occupancy regulations, as well as to activate the oversight role of regulatory bodies in enforcing municipal laws.
